We may collect account data, profile data, faith/religious and covenant profile data, dating/courtship preferences, photos/videos, Family Room data, parent-managed child profile data, messages, journals, check-ins, Peace Table data, repair agreements, Joshua conversations, reports/moderation data, billing/subscription records, event RSVPs, usage/device/diagnostic data, and support/contact data.
Some data is optional and controlled by privacy settings. Some data is required to provide account, safety, billing, or core app features.
Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed by the app or its service providers.
We use data to provide accounts, profiles, discernment features, Family Rooms, Peace Table, journals, check-ins, Joshua guidance, Wisdom Library recommendations, support, safety, moderation, billing, notifications, reliability, security, and legal compliance.
ABBA should not use private faith/family data for advertising or sell sensitive user data.
Other users see only what the relevant feature, privacy setting, relationship context, family membership, or RLS policy allows them to see.
Service providers may process data for hosting, database/storage, payments, AI guidance, email/notifications if configured, analytics if configured, support, security, and legal compliance.
ABBA may disclose information where required by law, safety obligations, abuse/child-safety concerns, fraud prevention, or lawful process. Attorney review is required for mandatory reporting and jurisdiction-specific duties.
Faith/religious information, family and child data, private journals, messages, Peace Table content, repair agreements, safety reports, moderation records, and Joshua conversations can be highly sensitive.
ABBA does not claim end-to-end encryption. Data is protected through app architecture, Supabase RLS, server boundaries, and access controls, but no system can guarantee perfect security.
Managed child profiles are parent/guardian-managed. Children do not have public dating profiles and cannot be contacted by unknown adults through ABBA MVP flows.
Child data should be minimal, private, and used for family/guardian features, safety, and parent-child communication support.
Parents/guardians can request child-data deletion or review through the Data Deletion page.
Joshua may process user-provided prompts and selected context to generate guidance. Users can control history and context settings where implemented.
Live AI providers may process prompts and context as service providers when enabled. Joshua conversations may be stored if history is enabled.
Joshua can be wrong and should not receive information you are not ready to process through an AI-guidance feature.
Users can request account deletion, data deletion, child-data deletion, data export, correction, or privacy help through the Data Deletion page.
Some records may need retention for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, dispute handling, abuse prevention, or audit reasons.
Automated hard deletion is intentionally deferred until attorney review confirms retention and deletion obligations.
ABBA uses Supabase auth/session cookies where configured. The current app also includes Vercel Analytics in production. Analytics must not track journal bodies, message bodies, child details, report details, or private faith/family content.
